The DermaBond Lubricating Anti-Chafe Liquid Powder prevents irritation and supports healthy skin, while providing an effortless solution for donning prosthetic suction sockets or liners. The liquid-to-powder formula prevents chafing and friction and offers a great alternative to abrasive stump socks. After applying the liquid powder, your residual limb will glide easily into your socket while avoiding skin bunching and chafing.

Your skin will look and feel smooth without any greasy or tacky residue that can often occur when using 100% silicone skin lotions.

Instructions for Use

Apply to the residual limb and around the brim of your socket before donning your prosthesis. After applying your prosthesis, tighten the one-way suction valve. Allow any air to escape by pressing the valve button. The liquid will dry quickly into a silky body powder creating an anti-chafe barrier, absorbing excess perspiration and lubricating against any rubbing within the socket.

Initially, the DermaBond Liquid Powder was developed for the donning of suction sockets. However, many amputees also use this product as a deodorant during the hot summer months, a day time moisturizer and anti-chafing prosthetic lotion. The DermaBond Liquid Powder can be used on any part of the body that needs relief from Chafing, Athlete’s Foot or General Dermatitis.
