Microcel Puff® PE is a highly durable, insulating, thermoforming and resilient cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) comparable to PE-Lite, but at a fraction of the cost. Puff® PE shows no deterioration due to water or light and has excellent chemical resistance to acid and alkalai when compare to other similar materials. It is naturally resistant to shear making it ideal for many applications in the fabrication of orthotics and prosthetics.
